Additionally to pipes, pipelines, different equipment and ventilation assembling has Markland also pipes manufacturing plant in Tallinn where are made following works:
- pipes plasmacutting, bending, forming and welding
- pipe modules/packages assembly
- hydraulic-, steam-, sprinkler- and other high pressure pipes manufacturing and testing
- thick wall ventilation pipes manufacturing
- fiberglass pipes manufacturing
Tallinn pipe plant was established in the beginning of 2017. and technologically it is the most complex pipes manufacturing plant in Estonia.
We have German, Finnish, Czech and Portuguese machinery.
Machining and forming
Pipe end machining and forming with special tool gives advantage to minimize the pipes production time and also quality risks by half.
This process helps to form the pipe collar or sleeve directly from pipe material itself, which means that we need only one welding instead of two and we can save production time 50%.
Identification and tracebility
To guarantee each pipe and pipe material identification in any production phase we will attach to each pipe the special label with any customer needed information and QR-code about the pipe and project.
Labels are made from special material that its not needed to remove them even before acid washing or galvanization. It will avoid 100% the pipes mixing up with each other or disappearing in production process. Also our customer can be confident that all the pipes and pipe material certificates are correct.
Surface treatment
Depending on pipes purpose each pipe needs to be protected from outside or inside against environment or fluid influence inside pipe.
As each surface treatment process needs different conditions, rooms and special equipment, then its reasonable to purchase this service from our subcontractors.
Sand-or shotblasting is needed mainly for steel pipes cleaning from rust dust, but also to prepare the pipe surface to be more coarse for painting.
Acid processing is needed mainly for stainless steel pipes cleaning from dust and grease to prepare the pipe surface for painting.
Oiling is needed for steel pipes inner surface protection from environment humidity temporarily in time of transportation.
Wet painting is needed for steel- or stainless steel pipes outside surface protection in time of transportation.
Galvanization is needed for steel pipes inner and outside surface protection for the whole pipe expluatation time.
Powder coating is needed for pipes inner and outside surface protection for the whole pipe expluatation time.
Rubberizing is the process where the pipes inner surface will be covered with needed rubber layer to protect the pipe from inside against aggressive fluids in time of pipe expluatation period.
